Sales Representative

We are looking for a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help achieve business goals. This position is responsible for using their knowledge of company services to connect with clients and generate sales.


  • Be knowledgeable about the services and be able to properly respond to questions
  • Identify prospective clients, lead generation and conversion
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
  • Monitor and review email correspondence from State of Illinois procurement to find and bid on contract opportunities
  • Emphasize the features of services to highlight how they solve customer problems
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements
  • Maintain contact lists and follow up with clients to continue relationships
  • Develop sales pitches and corresponding email campaigns to sell services
  • Making cold calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective clients and maintaining and developing documentation of their bids, sales, invoices or client contracts.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with necessary stakeholders to bid/pitch proposals, discuss requirements, etc.
  • Scope project requirements and prepare Statement of Work (SOW) documents with associated project costs and hours.
  • Collaborate with colleagues


  • Experience working on State of Illinois contracts and developing bids for BEP partners (desired but not required).
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative
  • Previous experience in web development, information systems, or other related fields
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Communication and team management skills
  • Self driven and independent but also works well in a team

Office Assistant

Resolute Design and Development is looking for a part-time office assistant to help with day-to-day tasks. This will be a remote position but will require occasional in-person meetings. You will be required to use your own computer, other equipment, and software.

Duties include:

  • Making payments to vendors and subcontractors
  • Assist with finding staff, posting jobs
  • Create social media posts for Resolute and clients
  • Answer phone
  • Answer emails/communicate with clients and subcontractors
  • Assist with creating bids and submitting bids/proposals
  • Arrange/schedule meetings
  • Assist with writing articles for website
  • Create marketing emails 
  • Assist with advertising
